Floor-Standing Interactive Digital Kiosk
When you really want to make a BIG impact with a digital experience, the Interactive Digital Kiosk (IDK) could be the perfect solution. It’s available as either a 55 or 65 inch display, floor-standing, and fully interactive.
The real advantage of the digital kiosk is that it allows users to either guide themselves or be led through a demonstration. Its touch-screen simplicity provides an interactive user experience, whilst its sheer size guarantees impact.
Available for both purchase and hire, the Interactive Digital Kiosk is ideal for conferences, mall displays, exhibitions, retail, showrooms and experiential activations. It’s a perfect stand-alone engagement piece or can complement a wider presentation.
Using the Windows OS means this unit can be uploaded with an app, with a video presentation, or linked to the internet to run a website. Our service team can log in to the unit remotely and update any information ‘on-the-fly’ as required.
Through our Content Management Sysyem (CMS) we’re able to drive messaging by time of day, day of the week, location, or other specifics. For instance, how about changing your message for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
You can choose to control and run the CMS yourself - or through your agency - or our technical team can manage it for you. The CMS runs through a secure server to give you complete remote control over your digital hardware.
We provide a full technical support service throughout Australia and we’ll deliver and set up the units anywhere in the country. If you need help with content creation, we have experts that can design bespoke websites or apps that work through the kiosk.
The screens can be custom built for outdoor use if needed (IP65).
Digital kiosks for outdoor use typically have an IK10 rating. The IK10 is an impact resistance rating used to indicate the level of protection provided by an enclosure or casing. An IK10 display refers to a display panel that has been tested and certified to provide a high level of impact resistance - in this case it is capable of withstanding an impact of 20 joules of energy, which is equivalent to the impact of a 5kg mass dropped from a height of 400mm.
This level of protection is typically required for displays that are installed in public places, such as train stations, outdoor pedestrian malls, and stadiums. An IK10 display may also offer additional protection against other environmental factors, such as dust and water, depending on its design and certification.
The in-built CPU and giant screen are combined in one unit, so there are fewer wires and no need to plug in any external hardware such as laptops.
Users simply navigate by touching the screen. Just like tablets and smart phones, our screens offer touch, drag, drop and pinch functions. They can discover your product at their own pace, in a way they find intuitive, stopping to read the information that is of interest to them. We call it Self-Directed Engagement.
