Fifty Shades of Grey Premiere Kit

Background

One of our most popular exhibition stands are SuperWalls, so when The Event Department asked us if we could produce a backdrop and some stands for the Fifty Shades of Grey Australian Premiere we were only too happy to help. The premiere was to be held at the Byron Kennedy Hall in Fox Studios Sydney, and the large room needed to be dressed for the occasion.

The Challenge

The large backdrop was to be the centrepiece of the room and needed to look as realistic as possible, with vibrant graphics that would work with the lights on stage. The other challenge was that the entire display kit had to be easy to erect and dismantle due to the demands of Fox Studios.

The Solution

At Displays 2 Go we have produced many SuperWall displays but none as big as this. To produce the 10 metre wide SuperWall we had to design a bespoke frame that not only fitted the room, but that was stable and could be seen from different angles.

The graphics also had to be vibrant, impactful and non-reflective, making the SuperWall printed fabric sleeve the perfect solution. With the sleeve slipping over the frame and securing tightly with a zip, the image had no risk of any creases or it being damaged in transit. 

The use of lighweight aluminium framing combined with fabric graphics kept the display as portable as possible and required minimal people to construct. 

The end result: an image that most women would die for!!
