Outdoor exhibition signage can turn a public plaza into a walk-through gallery, such as these freestanding printed blocks we made for UNICEF's Portraits / Self-Portraits exhibition at Darling Harbour. Each block carries photographs and drawings on several faces, so visitors can view the work from every direction. The blocks stand on their own without walls or fixings, which keeps set-up and pack-down quick.
