A first-time exhibitor in a 3x3 shell scheme is usually best served by a portable kit or a hire kit: low risk, quick to set up, and reusable if the show goes well. Regular exhibitors with the same footprint each year tend to buy a kit and refresh the graphics. A brand launching at a major show, or holding an island space, is where a custom stand with hanging signage and screens pays for itself.
